Lincoln Police are searching for a man who stole a vehicle from two people around 3:30 Sunday morning in a North Bottoms neighborhood. Public Information Officer Erika Thomas says the victims were sitting inside a 2014 gray Hyundai Sonata in a driveway near 14th and Court.
“When a 30-40-year-old man wearing a black hat and black neck gaiter approached the driver’s side door, making the motion of pointing a gun at the victims,” Thomas says. They got out of the vehicle and the suspect got in and drove off.
The vehicle has a black scuff mark on the back bumper with NE plates ALS 851. Anyone with information about the suspect or the vehicle’s location is asked to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000.
