A teacher from the Palmyra School District died Saturday in a hunting accident near Lewiston. The district confirmed the death of 23 year old Kade Reiman in a letter to parents.
Reiman taught 2nd grade at Bennet Elementary and was a coach. He is a recent UNL graduate. The district says they are having school as scheduled on Monday.
Counselors and support staff will also be on hand to assist students, staff, and families as well. The investigation into the hunting accident continues.
