Keys, Vehicle Taken in Lincoln Home Burglary

Lincoln Police are investigating a home burglary near 29th and Randolph.  Public Information Officer officers were called to the residence near 29th and Randolph around 2:15 Thursday morning.

” The victim was woken up by footsteps in the apartment and a man wearing all black clothing with a black backpack and black knit cap,” Thomas says.  “When the victim woke up, the suspect left.” Police found an outside door had been pried open.

“The victim’s apartment and car keys were missing and a 2012 gray Volkswagen Jetta had been taken from the driveway,” Thomas says. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Lincoln Police at 402- 441-6000.
