By Kaleb Henry Nov 14, 2021 | 4:06 PM

No triple digit scoring line for Nebraska (3-0) but the Huskers ran away with a third-straight victory 88-33 over Alabama A&M (0-3) Sunday.

The Bulldogs scored first, but the Huskers then reeled off a 25-0 run, 14 of which came from Issie Bourne.

Despite being outscored 15-9 in the second quarter, the Huskers held Alabama A&M without a field goal for stretches of nine minutes in the first half and more than 11 minutes in the second half. Nebraska has runs of 25-0 in the first half and 18-0 in the second half.

A 30-10 third quarter pushed the game well out of reach. Going back to last season, Nebraska has scored at least 30 points in four straight games in the third quarter.

The +168 point differential over the first three games of the season is a school record for a three game stretch.

Bourne finished with a game-high 23 points to go with six points, a block, and a steal.

No other Huskers reached double-figures, though 12 of the 13 players to see time scored. Ashley Scoggin, Jaz Shelley, Sam Haiby, and Bella Cravens each scored eight points.

Shelley grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds as Nebraska out-rebounded Alabama A&M 47-28.

The highest scoring Bulldog was Kierra Johnson-Graham with just nine points.

The Huskers shot 50 percent from the floor, including 8-of-20 from 3. A big part of the high shooting percentage in the early part of this season has been sharing the basketball, including Sunday when the Huskers dished out 21 assists.

Nebraska stays home Wednesday to host Creighton (1-1).
