The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says a Lincoln man was killed in a construction site accident around 12:30 Thursday afternoon. LSO deputies along with LFR and Waverly Fire and Rescue responded to
with Waverly Fire and Rescue and Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to a residence near 112th and Rock Creek Road on the report of a medical emergency. When deputies and medical personnel arrived they found 36-year-old Elder Divas Carias had fallen through an unsecured sheet of construction plywood.
Medical personnel attempted life saving measures on Divas Carias at the scene, but was later pronounced dead. The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death and an autopsy has been scheduled.
