Girl Scouts will be retiring two cookie flavors after this year, but only one will affect cookie enthusiasts in Nebraska.

The beloved S’mores and Toast-Yays will cease to appear at cookie booths after the 2025 cookie season, says Girl Scouts of the USA announced at the start of the year.

Demi Kulper, Communications Coordinator for Girl Scouts of Nebraska, told KLIN News that Toast-Yays will be the only change in the Cornhusker state however, as S’mores were discontinued in the region several years ago.

“Everyone loved the Toast-Yays…” said Kulper. “But, I mean, who knows… maybe there’s something new in the pipeline for next cookie season.”

So while cookie fans await for the announcement of Girl Scouts next fan favorite treat, Toast-Yay fans are encouraged to stock up.

The most popular cookie flavors, according to the national organization, include Samoas (also known as Caramel deLites), Peanut Butter Patties (also known as Tagalongs) and Thin Mints.

Online ordering with direct shipping for Nebraska Girl Scouts begins January 24. Door-to-door sales will start two weeks later on February 7, with sales booths popping up all over on February 14. The cookie season ends on March 16.

Online orders and the Girl Scouts Booth Finder can be accessed at GirlScoutsNebraska.org/Cookies.
