Lincoln Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who got into an altercation at a movie theatre, and a woman who caused damage at a south Lincoln gas station.

The first case occurred around on November 26, 2024, around 1:30 p.m. at the downtown Marcus Theaters location on 11th and “P” Street.

Video Forensics Technician for the Lincoln Police Department Becky Keller says the victims in this case said she went to her seat in the theater, and found a man already sitting in her seat.

She asked him move, which he did and moved to the seat next to her. The woman said she was finishing up a task on her phone before the movie began, at which point the man became upset and went to get the manager.

When he came back with the manager, she reports the man put his finger in her face and started saying inappropriate things to her before dumping his drink on her.

Video and photos of the man are available below.

The second case occurred on December 4, 2024, at the Super C gas station on S. 10th and High Street.

A store employee contacted police after an unknown woman came in and asked him to provide her alcohol.

The woman, attempting to smooth talk the worker, called him “sexy” and asked for a kiss. The man declined her advance, at which point she became upset.

The employee says the woman then grabbed onto a display case of vapes and damaged the top shelf of it. When he asked her to leave the store, she reportedly grabbed items from the electronics display and ran out of the store.

The cashier says he chased her and was struck by a pair of ear buds thrown by the woman.

Further demanding that she leave, the woman told the worker  she would tell her friends to come back and rob the store.

Video and photos from the incident are available below.
