Lincoln Police were called to the Grateful Green THC dispensary near 56th and Shady Creek Drive around 1:00 Monday morning to investigate a burglary. Captain Todd Kocian says officers found pry marks on the door and a cut wire on an electrical box, causing about $350 in damage.

Kocian says nearly $135 of products were missing. “Officers later located 35- year-old Corey Schneider near two other vape shops in the area of 33rd and Pioneers wearing all black with a face mask and backpack.”

Officers tried to make contact with Schneider, but Kocian says he refused to stop and began to ride away from officers on a bicycle and not complying with commands. “Once in custody, officers searched the backpack and found the missing product from Grateful Green along with tools consistent with damage to the business.”

Schneider was booked into the Lancaster County Jail for burglary, possession of  burglar’s tools, obstructing a peace officer and resisting arrest.
