A 23-year-old Walton man was arrested Saturday night after Lancaster County investigators say he threatened several people at a gathering with an AR-15 rifle. Captain John Vik says deputies were called to the home near 162nd and Old Cheney.
“During that disturbance at one point he obtained a firearm with the intent to scare or intimidate some of the people that were there at the residence.” Vik says when deputies arrived the rifle had already been taken away from Jacob Bremer.
Deputies believe alcohol was involved and they are investigating what led to argument. Bremer was booked into the Lancaster County Adult Detention Facility for use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony and terroristic threats.
