Nebrasketball could be off to a big time tournament next season.
CBS College Basketball Insider Jon Rothstein is reporting that the Huskers will be part of the field for the 2022 ESPN Events Invitational in Orlando He says there is “no timetable for an official announcement.”
The rest of the reported field would be Florida State, Oklahoma, Memphis, Ole Miss, Seton Hall, Stanford, and Siena.
This year’s field, set to be played during Thanksgiving weekend, includes Kansas, North Texas, Dayton, Miami, Belmont, Drake, Alabama, and Iona.
