15-Year-Old In Custody Following LPD Pursuit

Just before 10:45 Tuesday morning Lincoln Police responded to SW 13th and West Plum on a reported weapons violation.

A 15-year-old male had reportedly broken a residential window and two people in the home approached a vehicle when the juvenile aimed a handgun at them. A neighbor witnessed the situation and called LPD.

The 15-year-old left the scene in a red Acura which was spotted at North 15th and Pennsylvania. A pursuit resulted in a stop near North 27th and I-80 where the suspect was taken into custody.

He is facing numerous charges and is believed to have been involved in a shots fired situation November 4th in the 1400 block of West Plum.

A semi-automatic handgun with a green laser sight was recovered on the pavement along the route driven during the pursuit.
