A house explosion in a Bellevue neighborhood sent three people to the hospital Thursday night.

KLIN Media partner 1011 Now reports food being cooked in the garage with a propane cook top and gas was potentially the cause of the explosion.

Firefighters from the Bellevue, Papillion, and Omaha departments responded to the house near South 48th Avenue & Robin Drive around 10:30 p.m.

All three of the victims were taken to the hospital in critical condition. There were seven people in the house at the time of the incident.

An investigation into the cause is ongoing.
