A Lincoln police officer was involved in a two vehicle crash at Rosa Parks Way and S. Folsom just before 9:00 Wednesday night. LPD Lieutenant Jason Goodwin tells KLIN News a 66-year-old Lincoln man was northbound on S. Folsom in a Honda Accord.
“The driver violated the stop sign and drove into the intersection in front of the police car. The police officer swerved to attempt to avoid the accident, but struck the Accord.” The cruiser video camera system captured the crash.
The police officer was not injured. The other driver suffered minor injuries.
