The Fugitive Task Force and a Tactics Team took part in the serving of a warrant at 4312 Touzalin at noon Wednesday, October 27th. Lancaster County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Ben Houchin ways they were serving an arrest warrant for Reynaldo Gonzalez Jr. who was wanted on several drug charges dealing with methamphetamine.

After receiving information that Gonzalez was in the home, they received permission from the owner to search. That information included that Gonzalez was on the third floor and they found the entrance to the attic area had been recently disturbed. The also had been notified that Gonzalez possibly had a gun.

Houchin says the Tactics Team was called and they used a drone and other equipment to determine that Gonzalez was inside the attic. Negotiations took about an hour and a half and he was safely taken into custody.

The situation ended peacefully.
