Lincoln Police were called to 20th and Superior around 7:00 Monday night after a bicyclist was hit by a car. “A vehicle driven by a 28-year-old Lincoln man was traveling
westbound on Superior while the traffic signal for eastbound and westbound traffic was green,” says LPD Lt. Jason Goodwin.
He says a 26-year-old Bellevue man was riding a bicycle across Superior Street and was struck by the vehicle. “The driver’s view was obstructed by another vehicle and did not see the bicyclist.
The bicyclist was taken to a local hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
