Lincoln Police are investigating the assault of a 35 year old woman Thursday around 2:30 p.m. at 48th and Madison Avenue.
The woman told police she heard a knock on the door. It was then kicked in by a man and the woman was pepper sprayed. Once she was able to see again the man was gone along with a nominal amount of cash that was on a table. Officers say the victim did have symptoms consistent with being pepper sprayed.
