The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department has identified the man killed in a UTV crash near 1st and Davey Road Sunday night. “The victim is 45-year-old Andrew Koss from Madison, Nebraska,” says Captain John Vik.
He says the UTV was driven by Koss’ wife and they believe alcohol was involved. “Based on our initial investigation, the man was riding in one of the rear seats of the UTV. The victim was apparently attempting to move seating positions and fell onto the roadway.
Koss was flown to Bryan West by StarCare where he later died from his injuries. Vik says there were five other people in the back of the UTV, but no other injuries were reported. The investigation is continuing.
