Lincoln Police and the FBI are teaming up for the 30 X 30 recruitment event on September 4 at Auld Pavilion at Antelope Park. “The 30 X 30 initiative is a national pledge where the goal is to increase the number of women serving in our recruit academies to 30 percent by 2030.”
Morrow says there are 350 commissioned Lincoln Police Department’s officers and only 53 of the departments officers and recruits are female. During the recruiting event there will be a panel discussion with LPD and FBI representatives and a chance for attendees to get questions answered about serving in law enforcement.
