Lincoln Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying possible suspects involved in a Walgreens parking lot hit-&-run, and the burglary of a bicycle from an outdoor shed.

The first case occurred on July 5, 2024, at the Walgreens on 14th and Superior Street.

Video Forensics Technician for the Lincoln Police Department Becky Keller says the victim in this case reported she got home and realized her van had been hit.

Security footage from the Walgreens captured a blue Ford Bronco Sport backing into her van while she was in the store. The male Branco driver can be seen getting out after hitting the van, inspects both vehicles, then driving off.

Keller says the blue Bronco the man was driving is a newer, unique looking SUV, that will likely have some rear bumper damage possibly running towards the driver side.

Video of the incident and photos of the potential suspect are available below.

The second case occurred on July 9, 2024, in the area of 44th and “O” Street.

A $2,000 Cannondale bike was stolen from a garage in the area, and was later located behind a shed near 33rd and Vine Street.

Video footage from a residence nearby captured a possible suspect dropping the bike off, then later coming back to look for it. In the time it was ditched, the resident scooped it up and helped get it back to the rightful owner.

When the suspect saw the camera he knocked it off the mount it was on, according to police reports.

Video of the incident and a sample image of the bike is available below.
