A potentially explosive situation late Monday night following a traffic stop. Lincoln Police stopped a person at the D’Leon’s near 12th and South Street around 10:00 and discovered a homemade device inside the vehicle.
LFR crews were called to assist. “Our Hazardous Device Team was notified and responded and found essentially what appeared to be some homemade firework,” Battalion Chief Jeremy Gegg tells KLIN News.
The device was collected for safely disposed of.
