In a Tweet from Lincoln Police – They have located the driver and the vehicle they were looking for in connection to Wednesday’s deadly car-pedestrian accident.
Lincoln Police are looking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle and a driver that was in the area where a person was struck and killed around 7:00 Wednesday morning on Highway 77 and Rosa Parks Way.
Police say they want to speak with the driver to gather additional information about the accident. The name of the person killed has not been released and more information is expected to be released Thursday morning.
The fatal accident shut down southbound lanes of Highway 77 for several hours.
