One woman is facing charges in an aggravated assault investigation that started around 4:30 Tuesday afternoon.
Lincoln Police were sent to a disturbance in the 2400 block of NW 51st Street. They found an 18 year old woman with cuts to her head and face. She was rushed to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. There were three children inside the home at the time and they witnesses the assault.
The woman was from out-of-state and was visiting 18 year old Jamieria Wallace. At some point Wallace went to the kitchen, grabbed knives and apparently stabbed the woman multiple times.
Wallace was booked for 2nd degree assault, use of a weapon to commit a felony and child abuse.
