A second Nebraska senior has elected to pursue a professional football career.

Jack Stoll took to Twitter Monday to thank Husker fans and announce his intention to enter the 2021 NFL Draft along with teammate Brenden Jaimes.

Stoll said he came to Nebraska be part of “a tradition unlike any other in college football”, adding that it resulted in the “greatest experience” in his life. Stoll thanked both coaching staffs that he played for, as well as his teammates and the fans. He closed with “GO BIG RED!”

A fifth year tight end, Stoll battled injuries to appear in seven games for Nebraska in 2020. Prior to missing the Northwestern game with an injury suffered the previous game, Stoll had started 25 consecutive games. He finishes his Husker career with 61 catches over 43 games for 657 yards and six touchdowns.

Along with Stoll and Jaimes in the senior class leaving Nebraska, Boe Wilson has elected to use his extra year of NCAA eligibility by entering the transfer portal. No other seniors have made public their intentions for 2021.
