About 5:45 pm Thursday Lincoln Police and Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to the 1200 block of O Street when a mail transfer business reported they had a package that was leaking various vapors and had a chemical odor to it.
LPD Captain Duane Winkler told KLIN News LFR crews determined the package was mildly hazardous and took possession of it. The package originated in Poland.
No one was injured and no arrests have been made according to Winkler.
