Lincoln Police have released more details in Saturday’s double homicide at the Office Gentlemen’s Club in SW Lincoln. Captain Ben Miller says 32-year-old Darious Fletcher of Lincoln has been arrested for being an accessory to two counts of first-degree murder and felon in possession of a firearm.

Miller says Fletcher was with Christopher Johnson around 2:00 a.m. when a verbal argument took place with Carlos Silva and Terrell Jones.  “Johnson then approaches Silva and they begin a discussion near the front doors of the building, while Fletcher starts talking to Jones while he sits in a vehicle,” Miller says.

“Moments later, Johnson pulls out a handgun and shoots Silva multiple times and he falls back inside of the building. He then turns and begins firing at Jones who is still in the car,” Miller says. “As he exits the vehicle, Johnson continues to fire his weapon. Johnson then gets back into his vehicle and Fletcher drives the two away from the scene.”

Miller says Johnson handed the gun to Fletcher, who drove them away from the scene.   Johnson was arrested in Omaha on Tuesday following a foot pursuit.  He was taken to the Douglas County Jail and booked for two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of using of a firearm to commit a felony.

Johnson will be extradited back to Lancaster County at a later date.  Fletcher was located near 10th and ‘A’ streets Tuesday evening and arrested without incident.
