Two people were taken to the hospital after a three vehicle crash at 40th and “L” Street Thursday afternoon. It happened around 1:20 p.m. and all three vehicles sustained heavy front end damage. A witness tells KLIN News one of the cars ran a stop sign, but Lincoln Police are still sorting out the details.
A man who lives near the crash scene didn’t see it, but tells KLIN News he certainly heard it. “I was in the back yard and I was a block away. You knew this was a big crash.” At first the man thought the crash was at 40th and “J” where accidents have become common.
He also says the scene of today’s crash also see’s it’s share of crashes. The injuries are non-life threatening.
