Lincoln Police were called to 81st and Lowell Avenue at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 12th to investigate a theft from a vehicle. Police spoke with a man who stated he left the vehicle inside the garage. The vehicle was not locked and the garage door may have been up.
The man stated his Browning 12-gauge shotgun worth $1,000 was missing. It had been on the floorboard of the vehicle for about three days.
Police collected evidence. The owner was cited for leaving a firearm unattended in a vehicle.
