Lincoln Transportation and Utilities today announced portions of several streets will close May 15 through 19 for various projects and an event. The closures are as follows:
- Southbound 12th Street from “Q” to “P” streets will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 for crane work. The recommended detour is “P” Street to North 13th Street to “Q” Street.
- Southbound Touzalin Avenue from Ballard to Morrill avenues will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 16 for pavement repair. Route 41-Havelock will be detoured during this work.
- 13th Street from “M” to “N” streets will be closed Friday, May 17 through Sunday, May 19 for crane work. The recommended detour is “M” Street to South 14th Street to “N” Street.
- Stadium Drive between Salt Creek Roadway and “T” Street will be closed from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 18 for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Commencement. StarTran Route 24-Holdrege will be detoured during this work.
