Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will begin Thursday and persist throughout the weekend. Thunderstorms will become widespread Thursday night with localized flooding possible across much of the area. The greatest severe threat will exist over southeast Nebraska.
Additional thunderstorms are expected Friday with the Lincoln area in the ‘SLIGHT RISK’ area for severe weather. A third round of thunderstorms may develop late Saturday afternoon or early evening continuing overnight Saturday into Sunday.
