A pickup stolen on December 2nd near 24th and Emily Lane was recovered the next day. The owner called police after he discovered his garage door was open and his 2012 Chevy Silverado was missing. The victim provided police with security video that shows two men entering the garage around 3:30 a.m. after the garage door opens. He told police the pickup was unlocked and the keys were in the center console. The man’s cordless drill and camping gear were also taken.
On December 3rd around 11 p.m., an investigator was contacted by the Saunders County Sheriff’s office that the stolen vehicle was found at the Cubby’s Gas Station in Yutan. Officers talked to the driver, 27 yea rold Tyler Dodge who was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle. Dodge was also arrested for an outstanding felony warrant and for several drug charges.
