An 18 year old is facing drug and weapons charges after an LPD officer found him and two other people in a parked vehicle at Antelope Park early Monday morning.
Officer Erin Spilker says the park was closed at the time and the officer could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. During a pat down search of 18 year Amgad Gaber the officer found a 9mm handgun with extended magazine in his waistband.
The officer also found 81.5 grams of marijuana on him. Gaber was arrested for Possession of a Firearm while Violating a Drug Law, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and Distribution of a Controlled Substance.
