Freezing rain, light snow, strong winds, heavy snow, possible severe thunderstorms; all of these weather features are included in the Nebraska weather forecast through early next week.
The heaviest snow is expected in Northern Nebraska into Monday with the possibility of mixed precipitation from South Central to Southeast parts of the state. Widespread rain is expected Sunday over a large area of Eastern and Southeastern counties.
Dry conditions should return for Wednesday and Thursday with warmer temperatures as well.
