The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department today announced that five more residents have died from COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths in Lancaster County to 79.  The individuals were a man and three women in their 80s in long-term care facilities, and a man in his 40s who was hospitalized.

LLCHD reports 184 lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lancaster County today, bringing the community total to 16,821. Recoveries are up from 5,119 to 5,171.  The positivity rate for November 22nd through the 28th totaled 29.9% and for November 29th through the 30th is at 39.4%.

There are 177 people hospitalized with 90 from Lancaster County and 87 from other communities.  Fifteen patients are on ventilators.

Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath, repeated shaking with chills, repeated muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.  If you have symptoms, please get tested.  Testing is now open to all Lancaster County residents by appointment only.
