Nebraska men’s basketball is officially in the NCAA Tournament.
The 23-10 Huskers are into the field as an 8 seed in the South Region. NU will take on No. 9 seed Texas A&M (20-14) Friday in Memphis, Tennessee.
Former Nebraska athletic director Trev Alberts defected to Texas A&M just last week.
The Huskers-Aggies winner will face the winner of No. 1 seed Houston and No. 16 seed Longwood Sunday. The regions other top four seeds are Marquette (2), Kentucky (3) and Duke (4).
This is the first NCAA Tournament appearance for Nebrasketball since 2014.
