Lincoln Police and  Nebraska State Patrol troopers were called to the State Capital building just after 2:00 Tuesday afternoon. “After an unknown male called the Communications Center reporting he had an AR-15 rifle along with some pipe bombs,” says LPD Captain Todd Kocian.

He says the man also threatened people inside the building.  “A security check of the Capital was conducted and no suspicious items were located and there were no arrests,” Kocian says. he also says operations at the Capital were not disrupted in any way.
