Lincoln Police were called to Super Saver at 26th and Cornhusker at 8:30 Wednesday night for a disturbance.  Officers were told there was a man inside the store destroying things and yelling.

When officers arrived, they saw a man in the parking lot holding a “No Parking” sign with the concrete attached to the bottom, swinging it at vehicles in the lot.  Officers approached the man who was taken into custody without problems.

Employees reported the man, 40 year old Andrew Marr, came into the store screaming and upset.  He then started breaking items that included 25 bottles of wine, a metal detector, a computer and several other items throughout the store.  The estimated damage is around $3,000.

Officers reviewed security footage and saw Marr had been throwing rocks at cars in the lot before entering the store.  Officers found three vehicles with estimated damage of $3,000.

Marr was searched and officers found a pipe and a clear plastic bag with residue.  Both tested positive for meth.  Marr was booked for felony criminal mischief and on drug charges.
