Lincoln Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance regarding a roving crew of neighborhood burglars, accused of stealing an air compressor and toy collection.

This recent case occurred this last Monday, February 12th, around 5 a.m. Three vehicles were seen blocking a residential street near 56th and Holdrege. Lincoln Police Department Forensic Video Technician Jared Minary said video surveillance showed at least five occupants within the cars, with two casually walking around trying to enter vehicles parked in the street.

Unfortunately, they were able to enter one of the cars and steal a pancake air compressor and a box of collectible toy cars.

All 3 vehicles observed in the video were consistent with vehicles reportedly stolen the same night:

  1. 2006 Red Honda Pilot — still missing (plate: ALR963)
  2. 2016 Red Kia Forte — still missing (plate: YYV478)
  3. 2014 Blue Kia Forte — recovered, abandoned in an apartment complex parking lot at 821 A St)
