A Lincoln toddler was seriously injured after falling from a window near 9th and Washington Tuesday night. LPD Captain Todd Kocian says police and fire crews were called to a home near 9th and Washington just before 10:00 p.m. on a report of a child that had fallen from a second story window and not breathing.
“Arriving officers discovered a window screen from a second story window lying on the ground.” Kocian says the two year old boy was breathing and had been brought back into the house by his mother.
The child was transported to Children’s Hospital in Omaha to be treated for head injuries. The child’s condition is not known and the investigation is continuing.
