Lincoln Crime Stoppers is seeking information related to multiple cases of theft.
Video Forensics Technician for the Lincoln Police Department Becky Keller says the first case began back on October 12th, when a man wearing an orange shirt was seen in video pushing out a cart full of $1,300 in numerous tools.
On October 22nd, 10 days later, Keller says a similar looking male attempted to steal more tools from another Home Depot store while wearing the bright yellow shirt and what may be a blonde wig under his hat. This time, the man was dissuaded and scared off when staff confronted him. He ditched the merchandise, ran, and got into a blue Dodge pickup without plates.
In both instances, the man’s hat appears to be identical. Photos are available below.

Around 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 21st, a concerned neighbor in the area of NW 9th and West Cornhusker reported seeing some individuals with flashlights breaking into a nearby storage unit that belongs to a local flooring business.
The neighbor reported seeing the burglars throwing items into their dark colored SUV. Overall, around $3,500 worth of tools were taken including flooring nail guns, a sound system, jack stands, an air compressor, and other various tool boxes.
