The Salvation Army red kettles may be gone but not the need to meet their Tree of Lights Campaign goal. Lt. Paige Heyboer says as they approach the end of the year they are $150,000 short of their goal.
“Which is a big challenge for us because the money that is raised not only funds the Christmas season but it funds everything we do all year round.” Heyboer says year end giving usually puts them over the top.
