Lincoln Police didn’t have to go far to arrest a suspect in a burglary at the O’Reilly Auto Parts store at 11th and Arapahoe. Captain Todd Kocian says officers were called to the store just before 7:00 Monday morning.
“An employee arrived for work and as she neared her office, she heard a voice and observed an individual sitting at her desk with money and a hammer lying on the desk,” Kocian says. Arriving officers took 25-year-old Lane Duncan of Lincoln into custody without incident.
He says a front glass door and a cash register were damaged. Duncan was arrested for burglary and possession of burglars tools.
