A man is facing possession of burglary’s tools and 1st degree criminal trespassing after he was found running from Zipline Brewing around 11:30 p.m. Monday night.
A caller to police said they could see a man on the property through security cameras. Officers arrived and found several power and other tools stacked on the north side of the building at 2100 Magnum Circle. That included a large set of bolt cutters.
Officers then saw a man running through an alley. Officers utilized a Police Service Dog to track the man. A short time later, 29 year old Trenten Bankhead was found hiding in a tree line in the 200 block of S Coddington Avenue. He was taken into custody without incident.
While investigating, officers determined the tools found near the Zipline building had been stolen from a storage trailer belonging to a construction company.
