Lincoln Police are looking for a jewelry store bandit. Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says around 6:30 Friday morning the owner of PL Jeweler near 30th and ‘O’ Street was carrying two boxes of merchandise from his car into the store when he was pushed down by an unknown man.
“The man picked up the boxes and ran away,” Thomas says. The victim chased after the man but was not able to catch up to him.” Thomas says at least $50,000 worth of jewelry was taken. The owner is working to get a more detailed inventory.
