A 16 year girl has been cited after hitting a 10-year-old student from Saratoga Elementary School just before 8:00 a.m. on Monday.
LPD Officer Erin Spilker says the girl was in the crosswalk near 13th and Hudson when she was hit by a vehicle that ran a red light. The girl went to the hospital to be treated for a broken arm.
The driver was cited for violating a traffic signal.
