Lincoln Police were called to 24th and Superior around 8 Saturday evening to investigate a weapons violation.

Officers spoke with a 23 year old man who reported his vehicle had been shot at. He said he was giving a friend a ride and while dropping him off, another man walked out of a home and shot at the vehicle. The victim was able to drive away and call police.

There was a bullet hole in the front of the victim’s vehicle. Damage is estimated at $2,000. Officers processed the scene for evidence, canvassed the area, and requested video from neighbors.
