Husker fans rushing to the game or employees working to make the game day experience possible can skip the meter-feeding this Friday.
On Husker football home game days and other large events, the Parking Services Division offers the option to park all day (starting as early as 6am) at any on-street meter without fear of getting a citation.
To utilize this option, download the city-partnered Passport app, create an account or log in, and use “Zone 90” to start an all-day parking session for $15.
Brett Tomes, Event Operations Manager for City Parking Services, told KLIN News, “We want to try and find strategies for all types of people that are coming to park downtown. Many people arriving early in the morning are people that are working downtown, they have to be there to help with that game day experience. This allows them a much cheaper option.”

- Create or log in to account
- Create a new session, use “Zone 90”
- Enter license plate (No license plate? Enter the last six digits of your VIN with “VIN” in front of it: i.e. VIN123456)
- Confirm Payment
- Park at any meter for the entire day of event
