A 41-year-old inmate at Lancaster County Department of Corrections has died. Dale Kesselring was found unresponsive in a cell on November 19. Correctional staff administered life-saving measures until paramedics arrived.
Kesselring had been in jail since September 22 for assaulting his female roommate with a baseball bat.
As is the case whenever an inmate dies in the custody of Lancaster County Department of Corrections, a grand jury will conduct an investigation.
