Officers then learned a neighbor in the 7500 block of Sn Mateo reported hearing a loud noise and seeing someone in their backyard with a flashlight. The person ran away but the homeowner found that a screen was damaged in an attempt to get inside.

In the 7700 block of S 41st Street, another neighbor reported finding their back yard gate open. They reviewed security video and saw several individuals looking through the windows of their home around the same time as the burglary. There was no damage or loss in this case.
