A 67 year old man is accused of intentionally starting a fire inside his apartment in the 4300 block of S 48th Street around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
LFR extinguished the fire in a unit occupied by Jay Badorek. Officers spoke with neighbors and developed a probable cause that Badorek started the fire in an attempt to burn down the building. Neighbors also stated that others in the building had an ongoing argument with Badorek.
Badorek was booked for 1st degree arson. The damage to the building is estimated at $700.
