An Omaha man who killed two women in a 2022 Memorial Day weekend crash on ‘O’ Street in Lincoln was sentenced to more than 20 years in prison on Thursday. A Lancaster County District judge sentenced Kyvell Stark to 18-20 years for manslaughter and three years for DUI.
Lincoln Police say Stark was driving 90 miles and hour when he hit a car at 52 and O Street driven by Emily Siebenhor. She and her passenger, Edith Hermosillo, died at the scene. After the collision, both vehicles ended up in a crowd of people gathered for a cruising event.
20 bystanders were injured. Police say Stark tested positive for DUI after the crash.
